The District
Coalition districts were established to mirror the Michigan State Police Emergency Management Division Districts
There are eight districts within Michigan. 1 consists of nine counties located in the mid-Michigan area.
Counties include:
- Clinton County
- Eaton County
- Gratiot County
- Hillsdale County
- Ingham County
- Jackson County
- Lenawee County
- Livingston County
- Shiawassee County
There are seven public health departments that support District 1:
- Barry-Eaton District Health Department
- Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health
- Ingham County Health Department
- Jackson County Health Department
- Lenawee County Health Department
- Livingston County Health Department
- Mid-Michigan District Health Department
- Shiawassee County Health Department
There are twelve acute care hospitals and one mental health hospital in District 1 that are involved in the coalition.
The thirteen acute care hospitals are:
- Clinton Memorial Hospital
- Gratiot Medical Center
- Ingham Regional Medical Center
- Sparrow Health System
- Memorial Healthcare
- Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital
- Eaton Rapids Medical Center
- St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital
- Allegiance Health
- Hillsdale Community Health Center
- Lenawee Health Alliance - Bixby Medical Center
- Lenawee Health Alliance - Herrick Memorial Hospital
There are 7 Medical Control Authorities (MCAs) that oversee District 1 Emergency Medical Service activities. The MCAs include:

- Hillsdale County MCA
- Jackson County MCA
- Lenawee County MCA
- Shiawassee County MCA
- Tri-County MCA
- Washtenaw/Livingston MCA
